These dimes came from Hunting Park in Phila. I read that Hunting Park was the site of the first trotter track (harness racing) in America, circa 1826. There was a swimming lake and a carrousel in the park for many years. They filled in the lake and made a swimming pool for the disadvantaged kids in the area. Great place to hunt, except you'd be taking your life in your hands if you went in there nowadays. Those disadvantaged youths that are still living are all "gangstas" now and they're likely to rob and/or kill you.

very nice condition, i have two, one the date is gone, and the other is a 54 or 57 i don't remember off the top of my head.

The seated liberty dime was my first "real" good find. I can still remember hooting and hollering when I found it! LOL!

Awesome coins you have there- hope you find many more!

Really awesome dimes. I have no seated yet, but I sure hope if I ever find one its near the condition those are in. Great condition.

Congratulations,

Rev
