Season total!

We had a great and fun season, bought the gold fox trommel in February, we must have taken it out around 30 times, with the wife and cousin Will, and a couple other friends we did a total of 20.63 grams! What an awesome time. Definitely a different kind of fun!

Nice tally. I'm always interested in learning and seeing more on recovering the fine gold as there's a lot of it out there all around me. Though your gatherings looks a bit more course than what's found all over the Rockies.

I know that has to feel good to get that amount! My totals for the past 10 years is ZIPPPPPPPPPPPP ! That's what happens (in my case) when you get old BUT I really enjoyed my monuments and the friends that I have meet and kept over the years!

I thought the Omni was just the trommel but yours looks like the full unit? Is it new? I've seen where Kelly has changed to different mats, I run Dream Mat in mine at 4000+gph.
What mats are you using? I love these little trommels

Yes, I bought it new, and if I lost it tomorrow, I’d buy another one! It came with gold hog mats, and they seem to be working well, I’m normally running 2 2000 gph pumps, a few times we ran it with a gas pump, much more water and I would flatten the sluice. I would love to figure out a suction nozzle attachment that would dump into the top box, I’ve got a great place to try it!

You wouldn't need to run it into the top box/ trommel because you will need double the water or more to run a suction hose.
