Hello everyone, I know I haven't been on much, been busy with my senior year and such. This year, I wanted to get at some of the old stuff here in the Thumb of Michigan, which I did, but I got a good deal of new stuff too. Well, I wont keep you too long, here are the pics!
Here are the coins, I've whited out the locations for obvious reasons:
The seated and the barber were the first I've found
Nice year for mercs, not a single roosie...the three together plus the one to the right were in the same hole
First buffs and first V nickel, one buff was in a hole with a silver washington
Up till this year, I had one indian...so I'm very happy. Plus a canadian large cent too
An old ss card, a gold quill pen tip, and a 1920 football pin
A 1929 Martin Luther medallion and a hotel matchbox from WWI
Jewelry, 14k gold pendent and two silver pins
Rings, all silver, plus a neat boyscout one I got cleaned up
Clad
$79 in quarters
$45.70 in dimes
$10.20 in nickels
$13.83 pennies
$148.73, 2360 total coins
Other totals:
Wheats- 57
Keys-12
Tokens-8
Halves-3
Foreign coins- 8
Well, I can only hope that next year can top this one...I'm going to a big town with many more sites when I move to college. I'm going to University of Michigan...I hope to join or start a treasure hunting club while I'm down there. See you all next year!
