Season 12

Just for fun, I watched the episode and counted how many times they said "The Money Pit". I totaled up 53 times! I may have even dozed off once or twice and missed a couple. That's about once every two minutes during the program!

As for that "cut silver", I'm very skeptical of that one. Looked really slick and maybe just part of a broken flat button. But after they play around with it with their expensive machines, letters magically show up on the face to ID it as a 1600's coin! Sorry, not buying it.

Note in my newspaper TV guide (yes I still read 'em) - "TALES FROM OAK ISLAND", "explores the most captivating theories, legendary figures, etc"
TONIGHT TUESDAY HISTORY CHANNEL
10 PM CST.

Lol, "previously unknown shaft".

Were they also still handing out the 'Gosh, no one knows the exact site of the Money Pit anymore'' BS?

This week they continue to explore the Golden Egg area and hoping a drill brings up some of the sources of precious metal seen in water samples. A copper coin from lot 5 and tales of Viking and Templar exploration.

This week: a new tool. 100 Mhz ground penetrating radar will be applied for a more direct survey covering approximately 12 feet around bore holes.

If it's possible there are priceless sacred artifacts hidden on the island, why would you risk drilling into them just so you can hit the location? Sound more realistic to stop the flood tunnel then re tunnel the shafts safely.

Seismic refractive and reflective survey conducted, down hole sonar conducted, muon technology survey conducted and now GPR survey conducted.

All give the same result about whether some treasure vault exists as the past 200 past years of pincushion drilling campaigns have also done.

When you can't accept the result so just keep spending money looking for someone who will give you the result you want it to be is called 'doctor shopping'.

Food for thought. Assuming the group years ago that claimed to have heard what they call explosions under ground and speculated that it was the area around the treasure caving in, IF and that is a big IF that were some how true there would no longer be a "void" area there as it would be all filled in, crushed/caved in area. If some how a treasure vault/box was still there and not crushed it would probably show up but not as a void area..
