Searching shallow streams

I've used mine in a few shallow Creeks. Ground balance often!

Thanks for the reply. I visit/Camp/RV near streams that are frequented by inner tube rafters and I imagine they lose jewelry on occasion.

It's not a submersible detector, so you need to be very very careful not to splash water on your control panel. Use an arm cuff so you don't drop it and a long handled water scoop to pull a target. If you really like water or shoreline hunting, you should consider a waterproof machine Like a AT Pro or a Tiger Shark.

Some of my best finds came from a small freshwater stream in a colonial site. Many coppers, shoe buckles, knee buckles, and tons of buttons in it. Make sure you ground balance and don't get the control panel wet. Good luck!

I know about keeping it dry. Only about 3% of my hunting is in water and the rest is Parks.
