First picture is Dads finds from yesterday (2hrs). 1 silver coin (Holed), large bronze Medieval couldron foot, & bits.

We got out today & tried 6 different fields trying to find good areas.

Second photo: Dads found a complete & working!!!Tudor Purse Bar 1550s. Only complete example I have seen anyway other than the British Museum Cat. ;D ;D ;D
I got the lovely 14th century Buckle
18th century Pipe tamper (top broken)
New type of Medieval Lead Button

My best find was a RARE 'Dump' Halfpenny either 1718 or 19, if 19 they start at Β£600 Fine. Funny thing was I found it after trying a very rough ploughed field & giving up in the middle. I turned off the machine & headed quickly to a different gap in the hedge to which I came in. Just before I left the field I spotted the coin in a crack - EYES ONLY!!! ;D

Not yet we haven't. ;)

You are very blessed Crusader. I love the jug, surprised that it is complete ;D in fact I think this is the only complete one on Tnet that I have seen.
Great work, you and Dad make a good team ;)

God bless
Peter

That is a fine looking purse bar it have held a substantial amount
of money.
Well done on the dump, you don't see many in such good shape.

Dave.

Again, a totally awsome post! Keep em coming.

Nice finds, that small pitcher is an awesome field find, rare! The purse bar sure looks like a stirrup. HH, Mike

Its a class B7 in the British Museum Cat. of 1940. The last of the Medieval Purse Bar types.

I can see it worked as a purse clasp with that slit. The rest of the finds are also nice and a nice old buckle in there as well. HH, Mike

Crusader,
Congrats to you and Crusader Sr. You guys kicked some serious buttocks again.
Simply incredible. Very nice eyeball find too!
I'm learning how to drive on the opposite side of the road right now so I can come visit you guys. It's not going to well though on the roads here in the U.S. The police haven't been too understanding. ;D
Another great post.
Thanks,
MM
