With the recent spike of silver price, some of you sold or plan to sell your 40%ers. Just want to know how many of you go through them for the varieties before you sell? Collectively we can find out the POP of some of the errors, like 1966 DDO.

I didn't even know there was a '66 DDO.

There are a few to look for:

65 DDO, "We Trust", never found one myself;
66 DDO, "WE TRUST", found two;
67 DDO, Upper left of each letter of "IN GOD", "WE TRUST", Y of LIBERTY, 1967, found 5+
67 DDR, most of the stars under "STATES OF AMERICA", found too many myself;
68 TDO, never found myself, but very weak under 10x loupe;
69 DDR, many types, split on two S of "STATES", the most attractive type has split on S of "STATES", stars, rays, and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" Here is a picture I took with my camera.

There are ALOT more double die varieties for Kennedy's than you might think.

Some of these coins can carry quite a premium over melt. EBay is the best source to unload them if you find them.
