Search Scan 650 SOLD
This is a older water detector that some say was ahead of its time. I bought this a couple of years ago to see if I would enjoy water detecting. I now own 2 Tiger Sharks so it worked I guess. This detector was a little rough when I bought it so it goes cheap. It does work fairly well as long as you keep good batteries in it. When the batteries get weak it chirps with each swing. I had to replace the beam or band for the headphones when I got it as they were broken. I bought a set of earmuffs from Home Depot and used the band from that. (see headphone pics). Also at the bottom of the steel shaft you will see electrical tape with a hose clamp taped into it. This was because the previous owner stated he broke the rod clamp and used this as a cure. I have never untaped it as it seems quite secure to me. Any questions shoot them off to me, I will do my best to answer. $75.00 anywhere in the lower 48.Sold to GibH pending funds. Thanks.
