search coils

My question is this. If I were to get the larger search coil for my ace 250 does it come with a cable or is that an extra? I would also like to ask if a larger cable than original were used would it help or hinder in the depth quality?

Coils come with cables.? If your detector is hip mountabe the coil for it will be longer than a machine that doesn't hip mount.? The extra length doesn't hinder depth.? The larger coil will not only reach a little deeper, but more importantly? it will cover a bigger foot print.
