One of my better finds in October while detecting the local German fields with two detector friends visiting from the states. A nice seal matrix around 400 years old. Read up on how to get a nice stamp so I dropped some transparent wax on a piece of glass and stamped it, several times I might add. Shined a light through and was able to get a good image. Here?s the seal.
