i got a few boxes of stuff in a shed that i gotta finish going through and sortin' out
inside the door is box of pottery pieces and misc things
a cigar box marked 'lots of scrapers' had a bunch of gum drops inside and here is a post of some
a couple game pieces also
some are having the nice light blue patina the KRF gets after a long time and they are on the lower right side of the first image
on the lower left are a few scrapers made from other material
then on the bottom check out two game pieces

great stuff from "scraper city" Those game pieces make me wonder about their games, what were they and how were they played? Are you familiar with any of them?

Here is a great book on Native American games. It was published in 1907. It's full of illustrations and is very informative. It's free and you can read it online or download it.

Nice scrapers! I really like those "gum drop" scrapers you seem to come across so often. The bone pieces are nice as well. The one with them "X" is really cool. I bet your entire collection is very impressive.

Hey nice box there full of scrapers and other goodies. Why do you think they needed all of those scrapers? Do you think they just used them once and then threw them away or do you think they used them over and over again. I find maybe 50 scrapers per point in my areas.
