On Saturday morning, I went to the bulldozer scrape for the the third time. I had high hopes of finding a shiny coin three times in a row.

My recent success hasn't gone unnoticed. Three elderly bottom feeders were already there! The most sincere form of flattery.

Here is a marble in a bulldozer track. I have eyeballed a dozen marbles in the scrape.

This looked awesome sticking out of the ground, but turned out to be a dang Jefferson nickel.

Here is a pic of all the dirty finds.

Here is a sliver of a wheatie. Lawnmower fodder.

Bingo. This ‘51 Rosie popped out late in the morning, and made for silver, three weeks in a row.

Here is all the stuff, a dozen wheaties, one silver dime, two marbles, one Indian, and a dice with the spots worn off.

awesome job Tom, that was a lot of digging for that silver. again you manage to find some cool stuff. Glad to see you out and about again. Be careful around those elderly bottom feeders, they can be very deceptive!

Nice finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Nice finds Tom, too bad that Indian wasn`t a greeny!:tongue3:

That is a wonderful place to dig, Tom, congrats on the cool finds. Your blue Indian was made by MPC (Multiple Plastics Company) circa mid 1950's-early 1970's. Cheers, Sub 8-)

Nice, Tom. Q; Who got in there BEFORE it was scraped?? That's a big lot!

Congrats on filling the pouch Tom, you certainly got some exercise on that hunt.

Nice hunt! Keep on scraping! :icon_thumright:

Always a good day when the silver pops out, nice hunting!

Bottom feeders? It was good to see you Saturday and I look forward to seeing you there again. I did get my first silver (44 Merc) with my new Equinox 800 in the few hours I was able to be there.

I have been hunting this site since 2013 and we started when people were still living there. For those that don't know this site, it is very difficult with a lot of trash in the ground and it challenges everyone that goes there. We have had several good years hunting in there and the coils kept getting smaller, but the finds dwindled until they started moving dirt recently.

Now I plan to be back when I can (even in the ungraded areas) since the Equinox seems to see a little better than the E-Trac did.
