What do you guys/gals do with your silver (.925) finds? I don't really want the charms, children's rings, etc. that I've detected. Some/most are damaged as in 'connecting loop' broke and is the reason the charm was lost in the first place or the ring is too small for any member of the family or was damaged by lawn mower for example. Do you bag em and offer to the local pawn dealer or what??? :?:

Any/all recommendations are welcome. HH

ARA Refineries.

Most jewelers will give 30-50% of spot value for silver...not really worth to sell it unless silver spikes or you have a good deal to sell...you may also try eBay as some of your items may have more collectible value and buyers may give you a better price...

I sell my scrap to local metal dealers. :icon_scratch: They treat me good cause they know me and my experience and pay me about 85%. :dontknow: I'm OK with that cause its easier for me and everyone makes money. 8-) I sell the wearable jewelry on feebay for more !!

I don't know where that guy goes but you better be getting at least 85 percent for scrap gold or silver some guys do pay that little they are not reputable you can find better but just save it all in a box for your grandkids it's the best long term investment u can make
