Then the guys wife went inside and I saw a cigar box with these little boxes in it.

They are Limoges and halcyon days porcelain and are worth 200 bucks plus for each one.

I paid 20 bucks for the whole cigar box

Wow... great finds!! I dug a Limoges dish from the bottle dump at the CTH3 hunt, but it was broken. :( It had the same green & red stamp on the back too. Bummer it was broken, 'cause Burdie said that's the rarer makers mark, and it would've been worth some big bucks if it were whole. Ah well... it was still fun digging it and knowing that it could have possibly come from the bordello house there on the property. :)

Dang, there is some sweet deals at them thar yard sales. Congrats on a fantastic find! HH

Yea, I been looking up each item on line and I am amazed at the prices.

I bought them cause a little part of my brain that still works remembered them from the Antiques
Roadshow.

I imagine that poor feller that sold them to me is sleeping in the dog house now.

I am going to keep them and put them in the glass case with the other pretty things

I think you scored big time on those porcelain pieces and they look to be in mint condition. :icon_thumleft:

that might have been a "estate" sale --someome did not know the "value" of grannys lil pill boxes  :icon_thumright:
