School Daze, ever had it?

Actually I enjoyed school right up to May, or early June. Once that nice weather hit I would come down with a bad case of "school daze". I'd sit at the desk and stare outside the window thinking of places to be and things to do, rather than sitting in non air conditioned class room. The one thing I know about School daze is that it's highly contagious. Once one kid got it, the rest of the class would soon follow and very quickly. What usually followed "school daze", was a case of class cutting and eventually hooky.

I played hooky from school one day...perfect weather for fishing and that's what I did.

Ain't cutting class called hooky ?

Heck, who am I kiddin ? When I was at school, it was only in physical form. My mind sure wasn't there, I wanted to be on the creek bank catching a catfish.

Cutting class is missing 1-2 classes, hooky on the other hand is a day off
