Was 5 minutes from calling it a day, got a hit and spent the next hour happily digging out 21 of these. Any idea as to what and when they came from?zA688BF10-A812-45CD-A1BD-D5CAF17BAA52.png

All modern full metal jacketed bullets commonly used for target practicing.
To know the exact caliber of weapon you will need a set of calipers to measure their diameter.

What Bruce R. alluded to is that old military rifle and pistol brass cases have mfg. and year stamped on the base of the case around the primer. If you could find some brass cases in the area, you might find out year. But, as FMF rounds, I'd say less than 50 years old.

Thanks Bruce R and Keyapaha... I’ll get another chance to hunt on Saturday, would love to find one ofvthose brass cases.

I'm guessing .30 US Carbine or .32 ACP FMJ. With no cannelure I'm leaning towards the .30 US
