Scale

I would like to get a scale to weigh coins (e.g., to tell a silver '71 from a clad) and to otherwise weigh scrap precious metals, jewelry, etc. Any recommendations from the folks here? I don't feel like investing a lot of money in it, but want it to be accurate and portable.

I got mine for $21 from Sears, I don't think it's there anymore. A less detailed scale can be found at Harbor Freight for $10 (0.1 gram, not 0.01 gram)

You can buy it on Amazon for about $6. Its usually free 1 day shipping. But I bought it when it wasn't. I don't have the name of it now (on mobile) but just search gram scale on Amazon and look for the scale from my picture.It comes calibrated but sometimes I repeat sometimes get messed up in the shipping. If it does then use 2 and a half rolls of nickels since it measures up to 500 grams. 1 nickel= 5 grams. Hope this helps!

It's also pocket sized!!! Use it when buying bullion!!!
