FOUND THIS ABOUT 20 FEET FROM THE SCRIPT I I FOUND A YEAR AGO.

Sabres/swords, even in that condition will hold a sharp(ish) edge pretty well. Can you access the "sword" bit to check for sharpness?

CANT REMOVE WHATS INSIDE ITS RUSTED IN PRETTY GOOD AND FEAR OF DESTROYING IT. SOAKED IN OIL AND PB BLASTER AN GENTLY TRIED TO LOOSEN THE GRIP BUT CANT. THE PIECE INSIDE IS FLAT AND TAPERED AS WELL. SURE ITS NOT A GUN BARREL BUT POSSIBLE SCABBARD....
