WHAT A DAY IT HAS BEEN! Got permission to dig two old homes: 1830s & 1870s
The 1830s home was picked clean of anything worth while. But the 1870s home was/ is loaded. We only got a good 30mins - 1hour to look and found so many bucket listers! (In only one quarter of the yard only) so many more places to look!

My first hole was a D buckle, second was a scabbard tip, third was a suspender buckle.

Mean while my girlfriend dug an incredible confederate solid cast brass block I button!

Short hunts are some of the most rewarding. It also gives one something to dream about till they get another chance to hunt the site.
Congrats on the beautiful button!
It kind of shines a tad brighter than the buckles and tip, they're not too shabby BTW. :)
