It seems we get a post around here daily about how to save a dollar here or a dollar there. Sometimes the post is as obvious as where can I stay cheaply or it is little more passive such as somebody showing their latest DIY detector modification or construction.
Well here is mine and it's blunt
Become a charter member. It's $20 a year. Think of the savings you get
You don't have to pay for consumer reports to do testing on metal detectors - besides who can run them throught the paces better than the people around here.
Weather/travel/tide info from the people that are there
Popular Mechanics DIY for the stuff we want to build.
Classified sales without having to search through all the baby clothes
This just what I feel I've gotten out of my membership.
