Re: Saturday's hunt

Those school yards give up a lot of treasure. Thanks for the photos.

Re: Saturday's hunt

Great finds... Until I began reading the postings on this site, I never dreamed that school grounds could be so fruitful. I've only tried one school and it was a high school, but I found a couple of clad quarters in about 15 minutes before the rain started. Since then, we've had either rain or snow every weekend so I've been unable to get back to the school grounds. I plan on hitting it hard just as soon as good weather returns.

Thanks for taking the time to post your pics.

Re: Saturday's hunt

You appear to be surrounded by older homes. Check out the area for demolition sites. Streets or sidewalks being torn up, etc. Check with the public works director for your city. You could hit some really good stuff.

Re: Saturday's hunt

That's a great haul!! Okay, I'm very jealous >:( cause that park looks exactly like 10 parks here in Aiken....some of which are vastly larger.....and I'm lucky to find any clad. I get lucky occasionally and find a small piece of jewelry....but never any amount like that! Looks like a good regular spot for you!

WTG!!
