Got to go out to a Civil War camp area in Missouri before We left. This whole area has been hunted for years by groups from Arkansas that have came in because the camp is listed on their maps. Too bad it wasn’t dry, but anyhow after a 3 hr hunt I was able to dig up one fired .58cal I believe. We can go back anytime. I may try again someday when it’s not raining. Definitely a fired 3ringer. No doubts about that. If you go back, work around the edges or in any thick stuff in the woods (if that applies here). Usually the last place anything remains.
This is very true. I found a union buckle plate in the bushes a site hit hard. Out in the yard, hardly had a signal.
