Saturday's hunt....and Chug's surprise!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an awesome weekend with some great finds and alot of fun. We were able to get out saturday, we actually slept in til nine a.m. went and got possum a new tire, and enough time left over to get out and muddy! We've been keeping our eye on my favorite park, so Chug says we are going there, after talking me into it.....the past few weeks have been stressfull, I'm so glad he did! Might as well take advantage of piles of dirt and not having to dig neat plugs, at times I was elbow deep at times feeling for bottles, or anything else interesting, you just never know til you try, right?

I love the smell of fresh dug earth! I stayed pretty much in one area this time, and I'm happy to say I got good results, I got a dime, a nickle and 15 pennies, I did much better with my pinpointing, found a cool block and a really pretty marble!

I did better than Chug, he found a bunch of iron, caps, can slaw and a few pennies, he says it was worth it because being out there was making me smile, and relax, thank you sweetie! I can't wait til our next hunt! :metaldetector:

So today I've been working on a surprise for Chug, besides cleaning the kitchen deeply, the bathroom too, top to bottom.........my son is now in the tub bathing and shaving, if I find a ring, a hair, anything.......I'm knocking him out into next week.....he'll be back on tuesday.

I decided to use drift wood I've been collecting during our hunts, and decided to display our finds with the wood! Most of it is Chug's finds, now when people come by, we have a way to show off our finds, that, and my jewelry! Thanks for reading, I hope you all enjoyed it, I sure had fun sharing.
