Saturday's Finds
Went hunting with my Dad on Saturday after not getting out for two weeks. Wasn't doing very good and had only two wheaties by 10:30am. We were almost going to pack it up and go home, when we decided to take a little drink break and then hit the other side of the road before we drove all of the way home. Well it's a good thing we did because we started off slow there, but by noon things were picking up and I had my first IH penny and several more wheaties. We got lunch and came back to continue on. I ended up getting a bunch more before the end of the day. I think if we go back after some good raining it will be killer there. I was fully expecting to dig seated if I gridded it out. The indians were at 4" and nothing was deeper than 6". I got both plated pendants in one hole. I usually always recheck the hole with the probe, but rarely do you hear ANOTHER high tone in the hole. I thought it would be silver... darn. Luckily I snuck away with a rosie that was only down about 4" or 5".
Wheaties are: 17d, 18, 18, 18, 19, 20, 20, 21, 28, 30, 39, 44, 44s, 50d, 56d
Indians are: 1889, 1901 and 1902
Rosie: 1950d
