Nice job....that button looks more like an old perfume atomizer than a strawberry....I am wondering if its not a perfume button....doing the civil war a button like this was covered with velvet and the ladies sprayed their perfume with it...then gave it to their loved one going off to war.....
 

Great find :thumbsup: looks like a Victorian metal button,they came in different designs and date back to the 1700's-1800's.

love the finds thats awesome! i have one three ringer i thought it was kinda RARE FOR AROUND HERE in mass. willy.
