Saturday's awesome Civil War hunt. Video included.

Team Horbush returned to our Artillery Hill site for a great day of hunting. This site is extremely hot ground which require pulse machines to have any success here. Frank was using a GPX, Bob was using a TDI and Sham and I were using the Garrett ATX. After a day of using the ATX I really fell in love with it. Not only is it waterproof but bullets and brass give the same high low tone. I only had to listen for one tone and I dug very little trash. Everyone found some nice relics. We found bullets, buttons, J-hooks, shell frags, brass shells and much more. I also included the picture of the two Eagle coat buttons that I found. They are two different eagle designs. One has a back mark and the other has no back mark. I hope that you enjoy the video.

Nice vid. Looks like you guys had a killer hunt

Nice dig! Any idea on the Godzilla sized wrench?

Nice finds, those buttons cleaned up really nicely! Love that green patina. Congrats!

Great set of finds you have there. I'd be spending every free minute I could get on that area.

Great finds, lead, pulled lead nice buttons and frags. Looks like a good day. I found a wrench like that at a camp in wv. HH!

Very cool! You guys tore it up! Love the green on the buttons! I think some over clean...but I try and leave the green too! Nice work.

The penny turned out to be an 1800's Indian Head. Don't know exact year yet.

That's what I call good hunting ground! congrats

I already saw Bob's video on You Tube. Buttons looked solid. Very nice hunt Randy. HH, Q.

Thanks Quindy. The brass come out of this ground with a nice green patina. A lot of the buttons we find are Eagle "I" but these were just plain GS buttons.
