Saturday Morning hunt

The weather finally cooled off so I was able to get out for a two hour hunt after work. I hit a baseball field and the finds were typical...nothing but clad but it was good to finally get out ! finds totaled 40 coins worth $4.70 and that amount will be added to my "silver bullion fund". Just as I was getting out of my car a police car pulls in and stops next to my car and I'm figuring a possible hassle and being told to leave but to my surprise he asked me what I was looking for and we talked about 5 minutes about detecting and then he said "have a good time and good luck".

same happened to me a while ago U of M police I had an old silver canadian dime I showed him we talked for 20 mins and he said hes always wanted a detector cool dude

Hey, Clad2Silver: Don't forget to declare your finds on next year's Connecticut income tax return. Someone has to pay for the $10,000,000 (and I'm not joking) feasibility study about installing highway tolls (which we had for many years, but I guess now some commission appointed by the Governor - don't worry, no nepotism in this state - needs to spend months studying something the legislature has already decided on).

That's why I only dig pull tabs and bottle caps -to avoid the income tax issue LOL.

Someone has to pay for the $10,000,000 (and I'm not joking) feasibility study about installing highway tolls (which we had for many years, but I guess now some commission appointed by the Governor - don't worry, no nepotism in this state - needs to spend months studying something the legislature has already decided on).

Let's not forget they're going to put those tolls in place no matter what the study says. And then there's that dopey taxaholic Ned Lamont !!!!!

Maybe we can build more un-used baseball stadiums, pay for bus lines that run from nowhere to nowhere, tax the butts off the citizens and then create a VERY high paid commission to figure out why people are leaving Connecticut. Weicker promised there'd be no State Income Tax but he put one in anyway. Rowland promised to abolish the State Income Tax but didn't, and of course we know where he ended up......in jail. I don't trust either party to run the state the way it should be run. Ganim lost the primary to Lamont and he's a former jailbird. Is this all we have in this state?
