explorer se,excal 1000,whites MXT,and a E-trac
Saturday morning a coworker calls me knowing I have a metal detector. He says his dad just have him one and he wanted to try it out. I told him to come over and we will go out for a couple hours. Shortly after he shows up I load up my etrac and off we go. I take him to an old abandoned gold mining town I have had some luck with in the past. An hour into our hunt I found silver. A 1852 liberty dime to be exact. I call him over and he goes nuts. He had never even seen a coin that old. Blood pumping we both get after it again. Well the rest of the day was slow until I pulled an old ring out of its resting place. He then tells me he wants to leave so he can go look for a better detector. He was swinging an old bounty hunter and didn't have any luck with it. He was very impressed with my tried and true etrac.

Nice finds!! I real like the seated dime. Those are some nice tabs too

That has to be one of the nicest seated liberty dimes posted on here in quite a while ! The gold ring is nice too (buy a lottery ticket ?)

Thank you everyone. The ring isn't plated or stamped. I'm not even sure what kind of metal it is made from. Or what kind of stone it is. I have never seen anything like it

Thank you. This is my tired seated from this site. It's hard to hunt but if I stay at it I can usually pull silver out
