IMG_0979.JPG On Saturday I hunted the same soccer field I hunted last weekend. Finds were the usual clad....35 coins worth $5.46. After the hunt I stopped at the nearest Dunkin' Donuts for a coffee and donut and got a 1946 Silver Roosevelt in my change.

Congrats!! You can usually tell when you get silver by that sound. Doesn't happen often, but love it when I do.

Nice job Ed!!! I got a 40 something merc in change at the butcher shop last Christmas

Well that's cool. The fun of the hunt, a coffee and donut for replenishment, and rewarded with silver. I never used to check my change until I started reading this site. Now it is an obsession. Congrats!

Thank you.....Checking change is definitely an obsession of sorts. I started collecting coins in the late 1950's and have been checking my change ever since :laughing7:

Ha! Pays to keep your eyes open. Cup o mud and a silver is a nice ending to a hunt............

I love it when that happens.

Thanks Bill.....If I could get a silver dime in my change every time I'd be drinking a lot more coffee. :coffee2:
