I found this on Saturday at an old park and have it soaking now in olive oil. I think it may be a King George copper, but not enough detail yet to be sure. I'm hoping after soaking it I can tell for sure. If it is It will be my oldest find.
Thanks for looking
Ken

WoW! :o KEN!

Awesome find! Look forward to the 'after' pics!

Congrats! Nana :)

Will olive oil bring out any detail on that? It looks to me like there is no detail left...

I have a bunch of these bare coppers with no detail. Will an olive oil soak really do anything?

Nice Ken,

Hope you can get a i.d on it.

Romeo 1 there is a little wrighting on the edge but not enough to really ID it for sure,I was told that the olive oil may give a little more detail and if that doesn't work I may try a few minutes of electrolysys.
