I'll show a few shots of what we encountered today, and i'll do a complete post tomorrow. We hit a layer of ginger beers today too. There was one or 2 cryers but hey, you can't get them all.

Looks like some really great stuff, and is that a piece of a clasped hands flask? It would've been a beauty!

Yes it was. It was a real heartbreaker

Another amber beer, we pulled three today.

Does anyone know offhand what this was ? Schnapps on one side and a bell on one side. Would have been a sweet one if not broken.

More shots of todays big cryer, the clasped hands union flask. I was astonished that i'm fortunate enough to get to see one even if it is broken.

Finally, a decent piece that wasn't broken. Sorry, there is no embossing whatsoever on this one but the color is fantastic and i'll show it tomorrow.

Here are my cleaned up shots. As i stated yesterday, we hit a layer of ginger beers and the pit was kind enough to give us 2 whole ones. (My first ginger beer, i can mark that off my list). The one in the back was broken but i was able to glue it back together with no problem. The inks in excellent condition and these are the 3rd and 4th inks found in the pit. The large green bottle to the left is beautiful as well. I'm thinking a bitters or schnapps? And the small green piece to the front left is the "what is it" piece. I also brought home what appears to be a small ceramic medicine bottle. Maybe i can find the other half.

Just awesome that green bitters bottle is gorgeous. The paneled inks are really cool as well. I got excited because your digging pics one of the inks looked amber and I thought you could of found a piece from one of the New England glass houses.

Thanks justin. Man it would have been nice if the green one was embossed. We've been very fortunate with the inks because none have been broken. I was happy that we found 2 whole ginger beers, one for each of us.

so how do you know not to expand the circumference of the hole? you are mighty deep and mighty narrow.

when i find the bottom, i will expand the circumference. That way i don't have to move the circumference dirt out of the hole, i can let it fall in as i work it.

ho ho...sounds like you have done this before!

A time or 2. Here's the large green one in natural light. Shes a beauty. She will really shine if i put a little oil on her.
