saphires and jasper?

I found these saphires in a bag that my boss brought back from his vac. Montana at one of the mines, I spent $40 on the bag this is the larger finds, allot of small ones, the other stone I found in a creek, it has like bug fossils inside of it, is it jasper? it was found in Iowa. Thanks

Hard to tell from just a pic. But, my guess would be amber.
