Greetings,

Went to the beach to MD this morning. Borrowed a sand scoop from a friend. It's plenty wide and sturdy, but the damn thing weighs probably upwards of 10 pounds. Does anyone have any recommendations on a sand scoop that is not only wide, but weighs less? It has to be made of stainless steel as I hunt both wet and dry sand. Thanks for the help!

I like a Stealth 720i with a carbon fiber handle. Pricey but is light weight and cuts like hot butter. Can get a wider one, thinking 9", but I chose the 7". GL to ya, there are lots of them out there.

I use the same. Sometimes wish I had the wider one but usually after a few hours glad to be using the 7".

Thanks for the tip! It looks great, but the only drawback is the width (4.5 inches wide)...

Link was for reference, he usually has dozens available, I assume of various sizes
