Sand bars?

Anyone ever searched around sand bars? There are a few sand bar / islands where the families park the boats and swim. Just wondered if anyone had any luck around them.

I have used my tesoro tiger shark around some islands and sand bars. I have yet to find anything of value mostly beer cans and pieces of trash from people partying.
