Well, the Columbia river hunt last week went as expected - but I scored some great fishing lead, a 70's Western pocket knife, clad, a little bell, and my FIRST silver jewelry - a couple little flowers that I think were on a bracelet, but couldn't find the remainder.
Lots of Black sand run through the scoop.
Got home and took care of the chores, but today got out for a couple hours just to scratch the itch - over to the river across the street.
Yippie!!! my first V nickle - gosh, it's so crusty I know any detail would vanish if I took it past the rinse I've given it. But I can read the date -1903, see the V and a outline of lady Liberty.
After that, the domed shaped Canada penny - used as a button perhaps?
Even with the trash, I love to beep!
