San Jose update

Sorry I no longer have the reference material but several years ago i read that when a salvage group located the San Jose that the government changed the contract from something like 60 % to the salvors to 80% to the government. the salvors left and took the location with them. a Brit Captain was supposedly court martialed for firing on the ship and blowing it up. This would seem to indicate somewhere in the Admiralty records there is an account of the battle (locations of the ships involved) and contents of the San Jose.

The question that I have is it was posted that the San Joes was 740 feet down
Now in order to say this SOMEONE must know something about the location.
The 80% you said that the Govermet was asking seems like a joke to me. I would offer them 50% but what about the Government of Spain.
$2 billion is serious money and GREED is raising its ugly head once again.
I honestly belive that I can locate the San Jose but then what?
