just bored and not enuf halves around so i give it a try. i was thinking how the first state quarters are now 10 yr olds. wondering how nice of coins can i find from 1999? well folks its much tougher than u think. i found about 5 delaware that i considered worth keeping.the pennsylvania is tough because the design has a lot of vacant space to the left and any marks there are very noticeable. both these have a tiny figure.lady liberty and the horserider. look at their tiny heads helps on grading.the new jersey i only found four coins total in my box.the georgia i find as an uninspired design but again those large sufaces .dings show up ez. the conneticut probably wears best but crud seems to ezaily gather in the intricate branch patterns. seeing how much these had worn makes me think i should put some newer ones away now while the real nice ones are still relatively ez to find. of course i should have a large collection of unc rolls.but i just didnt save enough.

i had a feeling that the older ones might become scarce.with all the people putting together sets and some people just plain hoarding them, not to mention they are crappy clad that breaks down fast , it is no wonder.
