I stopped at a moving sale late Saturday morning and saw an excellent condition Samick upright piano for sale inside the house. My wife teaches piano and always has students looking for good used pianos. Samick is a decent mid-grade piano so I asked , how much? When the guy said $225 I thought I heard wrong. I said, is there anything wrong with it? He said no, it plays fine. I called my wife and told her about it. She came over and played it and the guy said the lowest he would take is $200, my wife said, sold. I then enlisted my son and daughter, got my piano dolly and moved the piano home. Whats it weigh you ask? Samick says 489 lbs. My back is still sore. I called the piano tuner and told him about it. He said, they sell used for about $2000-$2500. Unfortunately, once I got it home it looked even better and the boss said we're keeping it. Now she can play duets with the students. Samick full upright model JS-118

That's a great keeper for you! Unfortunately I don't play and would have to pass on such a deal as I have a messed up back and no way to even move the thing. She really looks great!

Beautiful piano or as my great grandfather would call it, a piii-anuh

Condition looks wonderful. Can't beat that price.

Great score! My wife plays, but even she didn't, the beauty of that piano would make me buy it!
