Same old same old

Same old kind of day. It was beautiful, water was nice but.... it was another day of minimum finds. I did manage to find a very small amount of clad in the dry sand walking to and from the water. None IN the water.

In the water I only had two good hits and I couldn't find either one of them. I must have dug 20 scoops on one before I finally lost the signal. Sheesh. I was only about waist deep but every now and then I would get hit with a wave that would take the water up to my neck and still I didn't find anything. On one scoop that I brought up and did find (whatelse?) a pull tab and please tell me that this is a shell of some kind and NOT a tooth!

I found this little truck about a foot down in the dry sand as I was leaving. The whole thing is light plastic except for the axle which is some kind of light metal.

Well as you can see I didn't find any gold or diamonds but it was still a pretty good day considering and who knows what waits for me out there tomorrow? I'll take it!

Mumszie, just keep swingin, gold will come. I spent the better part of two years until I hit gold/diamonds. On the other hand it took my daughter about 10 min 18K gold ring . So you never know . I predict you will find gold before the 4th of July Keep us posted

I am feeling for you there Mumszie. It is a bummer to come up blank. I know the feeling though. I hope it gets better for you. I did notice that you have a significant number of tool parts, screws and nails in your finds. Are you at a recreational beach when you hunt? Looks like a construction site from some of the finds.

Keep going. That dry spell can't last.

I've been hitting Clearwater beach quite a bit here lately and I swore that I would only go down say.... maybe twice a month. It has been more like 3 times a week! Other guys find gold there and some even find ice but I find nails, screws and bottle caps. Heh heh Well at least I'm cleaning up the beach. It really amazes me the sharp objects I do find not only in the sand but in the water. I tell people when they stop to talk to me not to go barefooted always wear some kind of shoes even in the water. I show them the nails and screws too if I happen to have any, which I generally do. I am a nosey old busy body.

Keep at it Mumszie, can't wait to see your first gold, as long as you're out there swinging the coil it will come. Once you get the gold though you'll want it again and more than you wanted your first
