Same ol' beach, 58 new finds

I hunted the same So. Fla. beach I hunt every couple of weeks (trying to find that 5 carat diamond ring I heard was lost thru a guy on another beach 25 miles away ) and found 58 coins and a house key...ALL within 100 feet of each other!!!? And within an hours time? I found 18 coins in a 3 foot area. That dude musta had a hole in his pocket...Man my shoulders and neck are sore! The wind tonight was 25 to 30 mph gusts, rain squalls and the lowest tide I've seen in months. I definitely got sandblasted...I found a Las Vegas slot machine token at 18 inches! (I have a stainless steel digging tool with a ruler engraved on it which is great for estimating true depths, as I try to continually learn my machine)? I don't know if it is the Hot Head 12 inch coil or the "new" lithium long life AA batteries (got them at Lowe's for 3.99 a 4 pack) I put in the rig today, but it seems like it was finding stuff alot deeper than normal tonight (I go at sundown when the beach is deserted)?

Thats whats important having fun... Just the thought of coming one of Florida's beaches, is fun to me...
I was watching a documentary on Treasure hunting, and some of the stuff found on the beaches in Florida were awesome...Seems the possibilities are almost endless...

Well, I went last Saturday to this same ol' beach and got 29 coins, a key and a silver bracelet (pics to come)? . Today I went again and got 44 coins. Two seperate holes had 8 and 12 coins respectively. Sombody must have had a hole in their pocket! This is a great beach! Only problem is I have to spend $2.00 to park there, but it's cheap fun!?

Sounds like Hollywood or Haulover beach.I always do pretty good when I hit the beaches.Haven't had too much free time lately though,I usually hunt at night when I do.The beaches anyway.Dragon,do you find alot of foreign coins down here?Good Luck and H.H.

No, I haven't found alot of foreign coins, only a couple, one from the middle east with a wavy edge (pics to come) and one from Canada. I have'nt been to Haulover in years. Actually I grew up there or should I say under the pier... Hollywood is not very productive lately, so I moved north a few miles. I agree, night time is the best time! especially when the tide is low.
