Saltwater information

Thanks for the wealth of information on saltwater artifact hunting, I received yesterday from forum members, unclemac, outoftime, scepter, tomclark. Wife and I are going to Myrtle Beach, then the down the coast to Savannah. Then up home. I plan to use this info on way down the coast. I don't know about tides so I guess I'll have to just wing it. Just want to thank the four of you again and one last question are most points found in or out of water? You help make this a great forum.

Myself, I've never found a point in the water (looked, never found one). Water definitely slows me way down, and slight wind and water ripples & reflections distort viewing. And of course the water needs to be clear enough to see through. Smaller waters like creeks & streams would probably be easier. Good Luck & post your finds!
