Also found this lead ingot. What would that have been used for?
 

The lead is probably for plumbing (vintage, as we now know lead in your drinking water is No Bueno) with the size of the holes in the shaker I would think maybe powder shaker.

The cylinder appears to be an old prophylactic can made into a shaker of some sort?

Some old inner tube patch kits looked a bit like that too.

Home made tire patch kit. The rough top was for scratching the rubber so the glued on patch would stick to it. Seventy years ago, my bike had inner-tube patches on patches.1.jpg
