I hope you sold it for a LOT. Saloon tokens are one the most valuable types of merchant you can find. If it was one nobody knows about, it is easily worth $500 or more to a collector.
 

I traded it for some seated dimes and 2 really nice 2 centers.Definitely not $500 in coins though....oh well

Not every token, saloon or otherwise, is valuable.

Like I said before, if it was an unknown and a saloon, it COULD easily be very valuable. I have sold multiple unknowns for many hundreds of dollars. You just have to know who the main collectors in your state are
 

Well done! Me and my daddy went detecting. He found a ¢25 barber coin in our hometown. Pretty cool!
