I believe that pre-dates the WWII German use of the swastika, and was of the good luck variety. What do the other sides look like? And is 8 sided? I'll bet someone here can figure out what game it went to with a bit more info.

The other sides are: Ace of Spades playing card, boat anchor, quarter moon, a heart, a ship, a witch's face, and a black cat.

More picture information would definitely help here. :laughing7:

What type of material is it made of, is it hand carved or cast from a mold?
What do the other sides look like, 'stylistically', it could be dated-able from the images?

Well, I could find another example, but unfortunately They don't list the application, a bit more than half way down here: DiceCollector.com - What shapes do dice have?
Unknown it says? I'm thinking it's from the late 19th century to the 1st quarter of the 20th in a time when fortune telling and mystical thinking was popular. As far as I can tell this image and the image on the link nhb provided are the only two on the WWW. A weird mystery item for sure. Ask it what it is and then let it roll. Maybe the first thought that comes to mind after will reveal what the heck it is ? ... I never knew there were so many examples of dices. I guess before the crash of 29 they'd come in handy on stock picks :dontknow:
What's it made of. Looks like either black glass or plastic ?
