Sailing Ship / Shield Coin, SOLVED

I recovered this coin in a local park on Sunday. It is the size of a half dollar or Large Cent and I believe it is made of copper. One side has a sailing ship and the other side has what I believe is a shield. There is writing around the edge. Come on guys,, enlighten me. I couldn't find anything in the Red Book so it may not be a U.S. Coin.

That looks like a Liverpool halfpenny token (Conder token). Nice find!
