Was Another great day in Upstate N.Y. 63 and just moist ground. Got out early today and drilled mega holes . Much junk . However.... First I found this thing I thought was can slaw but it was in gold range. After getting it home if you look It was a gold plated (no markings on it) the bluing is comming through And at the top of the larget sail is where the chain went through . KEWL. Then got a run scale silver read and bang 1896 Barber Quarter at 4' . My oldest and 2nd one this year. And as the misty rain was bearly hitting the ground I picked up my 2nd IH in as many days . I think I have only found 8 in 8 years . Now 2 in 2 days 1887.

Thos were the keepers today enjoy Rob. P.S. just under a buck in clad

Congrats on your oldest baber quarter so far and IHP in 2 days.
Thanks Skelly . This place has much potential and I usually hit it on good weekends as it is a property that doubles as a school . It goes back to mid 1850s. I sure hope to get my first seated from here before the white stuff. Thanks for looking Rob.

Great find on that Barber and the IH! I am still waiting on my first Barber. Congrats
