Sagamore Beach

Has anyone detected Sagamore Beach? It's kind of rocky and I'm not sure if a scoop or a shovel would be the correct tool to use or should I bring both and shovel into the scoop? I have not yet checked the conditions there but last fall it seemed pretty rocky.

Was their at beginning of winter. I didn't even find a penny. Easy digging and long beach. The woods their use to be some kind of military base. I think it was. I know they metal detect their for old war stuff in clubs. I would just go into the woods myself. So much their that hasn't been detected already.
