Might be a long shot, but is anyone here near Rutherford County NC or western NC. Looking for someone to go metal detecting with, as detecting by yourself can get quite boring

Sure. Now you all show up. I worked in Morganton for 5 years and stayed in Marion 4 nights a week. At that time I couldn't find anybody to hunt with. Oh well. Lots of history in the western end of the state. I hope you all do great.
