It's been a long while since I've been active! I don't know if y'all know about this product for dissolving rust, it's called "Evapo-rust" (I'm in no way affiliated just passing on information). It's pretty damn amazing! The pictures are of a an old diecast plane (1930's AC Williams UX99 I think) that I found in a freshwater pond 15 or 20 years ago. I'm an Auto tech and one of my suppliers wanted me to try it and this was my guinea pig.

I've used it and agree it's good stuff. this is a civil war union sword I dug and preserved a few years ago.

Real cool relic...! :icon_thumright:
Outstanding condition now....! Even some of original paint...!
I have in the past used vinegar and Naval Jelly.
You say that this stuff can out-perform.....?

How long did it take?
