Russian badge found in Denmark, need help with the letters.

Hey guys, i found this the other day at a local beach. It's not the most interesting find but I am curious to see what the letters mean. Any help is appreciated. IMG_20151028_121223.jpg

Where are you in Denmark? I have family in Herlev and Copenhagen. Head over every few years to visit.

Drove near you last month. Spent time in Billund and Hvide Sande. Took two days to drive from Hvide Sande to Aarhus. My wife got irritated whenever I took a detour instead of the route she had planned before leaving Zealand. I like visiting. I like being a tourist a lot better than staying with relatives. I really like the smaller, but older towns such as Helsingor (took the castle tour, but liked the old town better).

Never took the detectors there. What are the restrictions, generally?

Ok that sounds like a nice time. The restrictions is that you are not allowed to detect any places, not the beach and neither the forest. You can ask a farmer to go on his land, but if you find coins from before 1536 you have to give it to the government, and then you will get a small finders fee. Also big silver and all gold should be turned over to the government "museum"

Sounds like taking a drive with my wife aboard.

My wife grew up near Copenhagen, so is familiar with the area of east Zealand. We visit every few years. I can read enough to understand a newspaper, but find that speaking Danish eludes me. Know absolutely no one who farms or any who lives outside the Kobenhavn area.

The only landowners I know outside the US are in Iceland, so I might have to find a club in Denmark, if I ever feel I have the time to do something besides explore.
